Water is one of the essential things on earth, human beings, animals, and plants need it for survival. When it comes to the human body it consists 75% of water. Without providing our body with clean, safe and pure water, we cannot live.

Not only water helps us survive our body depend on quality water so as to maintain our health. That’s why we are advised to be drinking water always not just water but clean water fit for human consumption. This means water which is clean- free of germs and chemicals.

Well, water covers 70 % of the earth surface and 1% are only suitable for human consumption. Those are the most shocking news since the percentage we require for safe water for human consumption is close to 100%. That’s why every home needs this appliance called water purifier.

For those who don’t know what water purifier is it’s a device that eliminates harmful toxin in water and offers safe, health and clean water with the right components suitable for human consumption.

Since the earth does not provide us with safe water for human consumption, we need water purifier to clean our water.

Although most governments have tried to supply their people with safe piped water, the big percentage still lack access to clean piped water, and they rely on other water sources like the river. The water purification process is based on impurities present in water, and each source of water has different contaminants which are harmful to our bodies. Water source includes rainwater, surface water, underground water, Water supplied by the municipal council.

Although every government insists their water is well treated and safe for human consumption which is very true but mostly before this water gets to our doorsteps it is contaminated either by the pipes, where we store that water and container used to draw the water.

  • The hardness of water or total dissolved salt (TDS)

Before you drink water, you need to check hardness and softness of the water, and we check with total dissolved salt (TDS) meters which are available in the market. Below is the recommended level of total dissolved salt

Above 400 -very hard water needs to be purified

150 – 400- hard needs purification

80 – 150- soft

80 – Very soft and safe for drinking
